Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about FTTH fibre internet

Fibre to the Home (FTTH) means that a fibre optic cable is run directly to your home from the nearest street cabinet. This gives you the fastest, most stable internet connection available — with speeds ranging from 20Mbps up to 1Gbps. Unlike copper ADSL or wireless, fibre performance does not degrade over distance or during peak hours.

If fibre infrastructure is already available on your street (most suburbs in major cities), installation takes 5–10 business days. Our technicians install an ONT (Optical Network Terminal) device on your wall, run a cable to your preferred router position, and connect you to the network. If fibre is not yet available in your area, we will notify you as soon as it is.

We work with multiple fibre infrastructure providers including Openserve, Vumatel, Frogfoot, MetroFibre, and others. To check availability at your address, simply WhatsApp us or use our contact form. We will check all providers in your area and recommend the best option available.

Our installation includes the ONT device. You will need a Wi-Fi router connected to the ONT — any standard Wi-Fi router works with fibre. If you don't have one, we can supply a compatible router at an affordable price. We also offer managed Wi-Fi solutions for larger homes or offices.

Yes — all our home fibre plans are uncapped with no data limits. You can stream, download, and browse as much as you like. Fibre bandwidth is shared on the infrastructure level but managed by the network provider to ensure consistent speeds. Unlike wireless plans, there is no FUP speed reduction on fibre.
